I had a similar problem, trying to track down replacement hardware for a poorly performing 1960 Arcadia glass sliding door. I tried talking to Arcadia directly (phone number on their website www.arcadia.com) but was told they don't carry parts for old models. However, the woman did fax me their current 5-page (or so) parts list which showed diagrams indicating what measurements might be needed when matching parts.
I ended up getting the roller assembly from a replacement parts manufacturer. If you want to try this:
1) Take the glass door out of its track so you can look at the roller assembly (materials and measurements of wheel).
2) Try a replacment hardware specialist such as Slide-Co (www.slide-co.com). Their website doesn't show pictures/part numbers but there is a mailbox icon in the lower left and mail your request to them (mail to repairhelp@slide-co.com)
I expect within a couple of emails, you'll have an answer.
I'm not sure how similar your door is to mine, but the replacement wheel assembly for my Arcadia sliding glass door was "13373". It was metal bracket holding a nylon wheel.
Good luck.
