Fairmeadows Eichler, Designed by Jones and Emmons

This home is located in the centrally located Fairmeadows tract in the city of Orange. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home was designed by Jones and Emmons and was built in 1962. It features 1687 sq. ft. of living space as well as a 539 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor atrium. Entering this home, you step through the dramatic atrium, lush with ferns, palms, crotons and shefleras. A massive floor-to-ceiling wall of glass and slider separates the atrium from the living and dining rooms. Another slider leads into the family room and kitchen areas. The gorgeous covered patio and separate pool areas can be viewed through the glass walls along the back side of the home. The homeowners, true Eichler purists, have maintained the original color scheme and have beautifully restored the Philippine mahogany walls. Asked what it was that drew them to purchase this Eichler, the homeowner responded, "It was the openness and dramatic architectural design that grabbed us initially. It was a real visual experience for us. We found that the floor plan flowed very comfortably."
Breathtaking 539 sq.ft. atrium entry is separated from the living room by dramatic wall of glass. The rear yard features a cool, covered patio and fenced pool yard.
